UGC Success Manager
About ÌTURA
ÌTURA is a proudly Nigerian jewelry brand creating elegant, durable pieces for everyday wear. We design for people who want timeless jewelry that feels luxurious, wears comfortably, and lasts. Our brand sits at the intersection of quiet luxury, thoughtful gifting, and modern African elegance.
We are building a content engine that helps us scale both brand and sales across organic social and paid media. That means we do not just need creators. We need a strong operator who can build and manage the creator system behind the content.
Why this role exists
At ÌTURA, creators are a key part of how we produce high-quality ad and organic content at scale.
This role exists to build, run, and improve the UGC creator pipeline end-to-end. You will be responsible for finding the right creators, onboarding them properly, matching them to the right content managers, managing relationships, ensuring quality and reliability, and maintaining a strong bench of talent across multiple markets.
This is a foundational role. You will be the first point of contact for creators and the central owner of the creator ecosystem. Over time, this role is designed to grow into a leadership seat, with the opportunity to eventually build and lead a team of UGC Success Managers as Head of UGC once you have proven you can make the function work and replicate yourself successfully.
What you’ll own
You will own the UGC creator function end-to-end.
That includes:
- Sourcing qualified new UGC creators across Nigeria, Ghana, and Kenya
- Vetting creators for fit, quality, reliability, communication, and content potential
- Onboarding creators into ÌTURA’s systems and standards
- Managing creator contracts, rates, usage rights, and relationship documentation
- Building and maintaining a structured creator database
- Assigning creators to the right content managers based on fit, content style, brand needs, and capacity
- Acting as the primary point of contact for all creators
- Managing creator negotiations and commercial communication
- Coordinating creator timelines, deliverables, and follow-up
- Supporting smooth briefing handoff between creators and content managers
- Tracking creator performance over time
- Replacing underperforming creators quickly and intelligently
- Driving creator retention and relationship quality
- Managing payouts and payment follow-up
- Offboarding creators when needed and maintaining a healthy, high-performing creator pool
What you’ll not own
You will not own content direction itself.
Content managers and the Head of Content will own the creative direction of the content, including angles, hooks, styling, visual direction, lighting, storytelling, and performance feedback on the creative itself.
Your role is to make sure the right creators are in the system, assigned correctly, managed well, and consistently delivering at a high level.
What success looks like
A strong UGC Success Manager at ÌTURA does not just keep things moving. They build a creator system that is dependable, fast, high quality, and scalable.
Key success indicators in this role include:
- 60 qualified new creators sourced monthly across Nigeria, Ghana, and Kenya
- High creator retention rate
- High content performance quality across the creator roster
- Strong creator-to-brief matching
- Fast replacement of weak or unreliable creators
- Clean creator records, contracts, and commercial tracking
- Smooth communication between creators and content managers
- A creator bench that gives the content team real optionality and speed
Your first 6 months in this role
In your first few months, we would expect you to:
- Build a reliable sourcing engine for new creators across our target markets
- Create structure around creator vetting and onboarding
- Establish a clean, usable creator database
- Build a reputation internally as the person who always knows which creator should be used for what
- Improve creator quality, responsiveness, and retention
- Help the content team move faster because the talent side is organized and dependable
- Start building the systems and documentation that could later allow this function to scale beyond one person
Who you’ll work with
You will report directly to the Head of Content and work closely with Content Managers.
Content Managers will rely on you to ensure the right creators are sourced, assigned, managed, and available. You will be the bridge between creator operations and content execution.
We’d love to hear from you if you:
- Have experience in UGC, influencer marketing, talent coordination, creator partnerships, or content operations
- Are highly organized and strong at managing many moving parts at once
- Have excellent judgment when it comes to assessing creator fit and quality
- Can communicate clearly and confidently with creators across sourcing, onboarding, negotiation, and follow-up
- Are commercially aware and comfortable discussing rates, usage rights, and deliverables
- Know how to build structure, not just react to requests
- Are proactive and do not need constant supervision
- Can maintain a high bar for quality while moving quickly
- Are comfortable working remotely and independently
- Want to help build a high-performance content function from the inside out
Strong candidates will likely have:
- 2–5+ years of experience in UGC, influencer management, creator partnerships, content operations, talent management, or related fields
- Experience sourcing and managing creators for both ad content and organic content
- Experience handling creator communication end-to-end
- Confidence in negotiations, creator coordination, and relationship management
- Strong systems thinking and administrative discipline
- A sharp eye for creator quality, responsiveness, and brand fit
- Experience working with spreadsheets, Airtable, Notion, or similar systems for tracking talent pipelines
- Comfort working in a fast-moving brand environment where standards are high and roles are still evolving
This role is probably not for you if:
- You are more excited by content ideation than talent operations
- You need constant structure instead of building it
- You struggle to make judgment calls independently
- You are not comfortable having direct conversations around deadlines, expectations, and performance
- You prefer “supporting” work to real ownership
- You are disorganized with follow-up, records, or relationship management
What makes this role exciting
This is not a passive coordinator role.
You will be building one of the most important systems inside a modern content-led brand: the creator engine. You will help shape the quality, speed, and reliability of the content team by controlling the quality of the talent pipeline behind it.
And for the right person, this role is not a dead end. It is a path to building and eventually leading the UGC function at a higher level.
How to apply
Include in your cover letter:
- your experience working with creators or influencers
- the types of brands or content you’ve supported
- why you believe you would be strong at building and managing a high-performing creator network
