About the Role

This role is for someone who takes writing seriously, not just as a skill, but as a discipline.

As Brand Copywriter, you will be responsible for writing and scheduling copy across ITURA's owned and shared channels: Instagram, WhatsApp, email, blog, and website. You will work from briefs provided by the Head of Content, collaborate with the designer to align copy and visuals, and ensure that everything published reflects the ITURA voice with clarity and intention.

This is not a strategy role. It is an execution role, and that means the standard for quality, reliability, and consistency is high. We need someone who can produce great copy on time, every time, and who takes the same level of care with a WhatsApp broadcast as they do with a campaign email.

What You'll Own

Email Copywriting and Scheduling

  • Write all outgoing email copy (campaigns, launches, promotions, newsletters, educational sends, and lifecycle emails) including subject lines, preview text, and body copy
  • Populate and format copy into email templates in Shopify Messaging
  • Edit and proofread all email copy before scheduling
  • Schedule emails at the right time based on the campaign calendar
  • Flag any copy, formatting, or scheduling issues to the Head of Content before send

Blog Writing and Publishing

  • Write blog posts according to briefs from the Head of Content, ensuring content is well-written, on-brand, and optimized for readability and SEO
  • Populate blog posts into Shopify accurately and on time
  • Support the Head of Content with light website copy edits where needed

Community Copy

  • Write WhatsApp broadcast messages and Instagram community copy for the Social Media Manager to post
  • Write SMS copy where relevant
  • Write copy for campaign moments, launches, and gifting seasons

Content Calendar and Scheduling

  • Populate and maintain their sections of the content calendar in Notion at least two weeks ahead
  • Keep copy assets organized so the designer and Social Media Manager can access what they need
  • Flag gaps or delays to the Head of Content before they become a problem

What Success Looks Like

  • Every email goes out on time, correctly formatted, and error-free
  • Blog content publishes consistently and reads unmistakably like ITURA
  • Community copy across WhatsApp and Instagram feels reliably warm and on-brand
  • Blog articles meet both SEO targets and brand storytelling standards
  • The content calendar written sections are always populated ahead of schedule
  • The Head of Content is reviewing your work, not rewriting or chasing it

You are likely someone who:

  • Has a strong, adaptable writing style and can internalize a brand voice quickly
  • Understands that tone and format shift by channel — and adapts without being told
  • Is organized, reliable, and meets deadlines consistently
  • Responds to messages quickly and is easy to work with remotely
  • Knows when to handle something independently and when to escalate it
  • Takes pride in the quality of your writing, even in the small places
  • Has genuine curiosity about language and how words make people feel
  • Understands the basics of SEO and how to write for both readers and search

What We're Looking For

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

  • Experience writing copy for a brand, agency, or creative team — social, email, website, or editorial
  • Strong written English with a clear, adaptable voice
  • Ability to write across formats: short captions, long-form blog, concise email, warm community messaging
  • Experience with content calendars and publishing workflows
  • Familiarity with Shopify, Notion, or similar tools — or the ability to learn them quickly
  • A genuine understanding of brand voice, not just good grammar
  • Experience in fashion, beauty, jewelry, lifestyle, or a similar consumer brand is a strong advantage

  • You need constant direction to produce a first draft
  • You write well in isolation but struggle to execute inside a structured workflow
  • You treat all channels the same and write in a generic tone regardless of context
  • You are slow to respond, hard to reach, or inconsistent with availability
  • You miss deadlines without flagging in advance
  • You are not available for regular check-ins and feedback sessions
