ÌTURA Jewelry is a Lagos-based demi-fine jewelry brand creating timeless, elegant, giftable pieces for modern Nigerians. We make rings, earrings, necklaces and bracelets designed to last and meant to be given, backed by real guarantees: a 2-year warranty, 1-year damage replacement, and free returns.

The role in one line

You make sure every ÌTURA order leaves our fulfillment centre correctly packed, beautifully presented and on time, so the customer’s first physical experience of us is as considered as the piece inside the box.

The details

• Location: Onsite, Lagos (Lekki)
• Hours: Mondays to Saturdays, 9:00am – 5:00pm
• Employment type: Full-time
• Reports to: Fulfillment Manager
• Start date: Immediately
• Compensation: ₦250,000 – ₦500,000/month, bonus incl., based on experience

Why this role exists now

Packing is part of the product here. The presentation, the fragrance, the consistency: it is a real part of why a customer feels good about buying from us and tells someone else.

Today our Fulfillment Manager packs alongside the two associates already on the team, which means the person meant to be managing quality is spending her day producing it. As order volume grows, that does not hold. This role exists to take daily packing volume as its own, keep the unboxing standard steady across more hands, and keep routine fulfillment running without the manager or the founders being pulled in.

What you’ll own

Order packing and presentation

• Pulling stock for your assigned orders and verifying every SKU against the order before anything is packed
• Preparing jewelry boxes, applying our fragrance and presentation touches to standard
• Handwriting the touches each order requires, clearly and legibly
• Quality-checking every order before it is sealed

Shopify fulfillment

• Tracking and fulfilling the day’s orders in the Shopify app
• Marking orders fulfilled with correct tracking, the same day they are packed
• Confirming addresses and order details before packing
• Flagging mismatches, missing items or order issues to the Fulfillment Manager early

Customer communication

• Sending our approved email templates to customers once their orders are packed
• Using approved templates to tell customers about out-of-stock items, and updating them when pieces are restocked
• Passing any message a template does not cover to the Fulfillment Manager or Customer Support, rather than improvising a reply

Delivery coordination

• Coordinating inter-state deliveries
• Preparing parcels for handover with correct labels and packaging
• Confirming pickup and logging the tracking handover
• Following up on delays and delivery exceptions

Station and stock care

• Closing out the packing station daily: clean, organised and ready for the next shift
• Restocking boxes, fragrance, inserts and cards before they run out, not after
• Handling ÌTURA’s stock with care and reporting damage immediately

What this role does not own

We are explicit about this because the work sits close to decisions it does not make. You may flag issues and suggest improvements in any of these areas; ownership sits elsewhere.

• Inventory decisions, reorder planning or stock receiving ownership
• Customer dispute resolution beyond template responses, and customer escalation strategy
• Courier contracts, rates or vendor changes
• Team management, scheduling or SOP changes
• Shopify configuration and app setup

What good looks like here

Your performance is measured on accuracy, consistency, presentation and timeliness, not on how busy the day looked.

• Packing accuracy: fewer than 1 mispack per 100 orders, and no customer complaints about wrong or poorly packed items
• On-time fulfillment: 95% or more of orders received before cutoff packed and fulfilled the same day
• Communication: the order-packed template sent the same day, every time; out-of-stock and restock notes within 24 hours
• Presentation: every order perfumed and finished to the reference standard, first order of the day to last
• Stock care: damage reported immediately, materials flagged before they run out, no loss incidents
• Reliability: steady attendance, steady output across the week

What we’re looking for

You are careful, dependable, and you understand that the detail is the point. You take pride in presentation and you would rather do it properly than do it fast.

Must-haves

• Experience packing and fulfilling orders for an e-commerce or retail brand — fashion, accessories or similar
• Confident using a smartphone for work: the Shopify app, email, and basic communication tools
• Clear, legible handwriting
• Able to work onsite in Lekki, Monday to Saturday, consistently
• Trustworthy with high-value inventory

Nice-to-haves

• Hands-on Shopify experience
• Experience speaking with customers, in writing or by phone
• Familiarity with GIG, GUO Logistics or similar inter-state couriers, and with Lagos delivery dynamics
• Calm and practical when the day does not go to plan
