Performance Marketing Manager (Meta Ads)
FULLTIME • REMOTE, NIGERIA • ₦1,200,000 to ₦2,000,000 / Monthly incl. bonus
About ÌTURA
ÌTURA Jewelry is a Lagos-based jewelry brand creating timeless, elegant pieces for modern Nigerians. Our pieces are made to be worn every day, stacked and layered, and to hold up to real life.
Most of our customers meet us through an ad. Paid social is the engine that brings new people to the brand, and our website, our content and our service do the rest. We spend seriously on Meta every day, we track every naira against real Shopify sales, and we run the account by written rules rather than by mood.
Until now, one of our founders has run that engine personally. This role takes it over.
About the Role
You will own ÌTURA's paid media: the Meta ad account, the daily budget, the creative that goes into it and the return that comes out of it.
This is a media buying role in the performance sense. You will not be buying TV, radio or billboard space. You will be running Meta campaigns for an ecommerce brand: deciding what to test, what to switch off, what to scale and what to make next, then answering for the result in Shopify sales.
You will also own image ad creative. You will decide what image ads we need, brief our Lead Designer, make simple versions yourself, and write the ad copy. You will work every day with our Content Manager, who runs our UGC creators and makes new versions of our winning videos, so the two of you always know what is working and what to make next.
This is a role for someone who wants the account to be theirs. You will report to the co-founder whose job you are taking over, and the measure of success is simple: the account grows and he no longer has to run it.
What You'll Own
The Ad Account
- Run ÌTURA's Meta ad account day to day: prospecting, retargeting and offer campaigns across the full funnel
- Apply our written ad rules: which ads get switched off, which graduate, how budgets step up and when they come down
- Own the twice-daily kill-and-replace routine that switches off ads spending too much per add-to-cart and swaps in fresh ones, and act on what it reports
- Keep the account healthy: audiences, exclusions, frequency, attribution settings, naming and tracking
- Expand to TikTok and Snapchat once Meta is stable
Spend and Return
- Set and move budgets within the limits agreed with the founder
- Answer for blended return (Shopify sales divided by ad spend) and for cost per add-to-cart by funnel stage
- Read Shopify and Meta numbers side by side and know which one to trust for which decision
- Flag spend that is running ahead of stock, cash or the plan before it becomes a problem
Image Creative and Copy
- Decide what image ads the account needs each week, and why
- Brief the Lead Designer with a clear hypothesis, layer and hook for every new image ad
- Make simple versions yourself: resizes, new text, new offers on a proven layout
- Write ad copy (primary text, headline, description) in the ÌTURA voice
Video Creative, with the Content Manager
- Know which videos are winning, at which stage of the funnel, and why
- Tell the Content Manager which winners need new versions and which ideas to test next
- Feed every test result back into the next brief
Reporting
- A short daily note to the founder: spend, sales, what you changed and why
- A weekly review: what worked, what died, what you are testing next week
- A clean record in Notion of every ad, its creative and its result
What Success Looks Like
- The account runs every day without the founder touching it
- Blended return holds at or above our target while spend grows
- More new ads become winners, and losers are switched off before they waste money
- There is always fresh creative ready before the current ads tire
- Ads never send people to products we cannot ship
- The founder reads your daily note in two minutes and has nothing to correct
Who You'll Work With
You will report directly to Paul, Co-Founder, who built and ran the account until now.
You will work closely with:
- The Content Manager (UGC and creators), your daily partner on video creative
- Emmanuel, Lead Designer, who designs image ads from your briefs
- Annie, Social Media and Email Lead, who runs organic social and email
- Kanma, Co-Founder, on product, stock and launches
- Operations, on stock levels and what can ship
Who You Are
You are a performance marketer who has run real money on Meta for an ecommerce brand and can show what happened to it.
You are likely someone who:
- Thinks in cost per add-to-cart, cost per sale and return, not likes and reach
- Has switched off an ad that looked good because the numbers said so
- Knows creative is the biggest lever in a Meta account today, and has opinions about what makes an ad work
- Can brief a designer clearly and write ad copy that sounds like a person
- Reads Shopify and Meta numbers and spots when they disagree
- Follows rules carefully, and argues to change a rule with evidence rather than ignoring it
- Works well remotely: clear written updates, no need to be chased
What We're Looking For
We would love to hear from you if you have:
- At least two years running Meta ads hands-on for an ecommerce, fashion, beauty or lifestyle brand
- Experience managing ₦10M or more a month in ad spend (or the equivalent in another currency)
- A clear track record you can show: screenshots or exports with spend, sales and return over time
- Working knowledge of Meta's campaign structure, Advantage+, audiences, exclusions, attribution windows and the pixel
- Experience briefing designers or creators and judging creative on results
- Comfort with spreadsheets and Notion, and the habit of writing things down
- Agency experience is welcome if you ran the account yourself, not only reported on it
- TikTok or Snapchat ads experience is a plus
This Role Is Not For You If…
- Your media buying background is TV, radio, print or billboards rather than Meta ads
- You judge ads on likes, views or reach rather than sales
- You need someone else to tell you which ads to switch off
- You want to run the account but not touch creative
- You prefer to change settings and audiences constantly rather than feed the account better ads
- You go quiet when results dip instead of saying what happened and what you will do
Why Join ÌTURA
This is the seat that drives the growth of a fast-growing Nigerian jewelry brand. Every naira you move shows up in Shopify the same day, and you will see exactly what your decisions are worth.
You will inherit a working system rather than a mess: written ad rules, an automated kill-and-replace routine, a tracked creative library and a team that makes ads every week. Your job is to run it, sharpen it and grow it.
Part of your pay is tied to the results you produce, so when the account does well, you do well.
How to Apply
In your cover letter, include:
- A short note explaining why this role suits you
- One account you ran: the monthly spend, the return, and the one change you made that moved it most (screenshots welcome, client names can be hidden)
- One ad you switched off that others wanted to keep, and why
